Terms of use

Information only

Old Hand Fault Finder gives general, plain-English explanations of drive fault codes. It is not the manufacturer's instructions and is not professional engineering advice for your machine.

Safety first

Always follow the manufacturer's manual, your site's safety procedures, lockout/tagout rules and local electrical codes. Only qualified people should work on electrical equipment. Lock out, tag out and verify zero energy before touching wiring, motors or mechanics.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Fault names and meanings can differ by model and firmware version, and mistakes are possible. Check the official manual for your drive before acting. You use this information at your own risk.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site's owner is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or downtime that comes from using or relying on this site.

Trademarks

Not affiliated with Rockwell, Siemens, ABB or Yaskawa. PowerFlex, SINAMICS, ACS580, GA500 and other names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the equipment a page covers.
